Newport, Isle Of Wight
 
 
Newport is located in the centre of the Island and is its major town and main shopping centre.
 
Excellent roads and bus services make it easy to reach from anywhere on the Island and the Southern Vectis bus terminus is right in the centre of town.
 
Enjoy browsing in the major chain stores or the many exclusive and fascinating little shops to be found in the lanes leading off the High Street and two main squares.

Godshill Village
 
 
Godshill is a very beautiful and popular old village with a large amount of thatched houses and gift shops, plenty of parking even for large coaches.
 
There are quite a few gift shops to look through, many tea rooms with inside and outside seating and two pubs with one church up on the hill.
 
There are a couple of restaurants of which one is supposedly haunted and The Model Village and a small Toy Museum.
 
Not forgetting Godshill's Cider Barn which sells very compelling cider in various containers along with preserves, oils, jams, wines, mustards and the like.

Sandown
 
 
Superbly situated beside the sparkling waters of Sandown Bay, the resort of Sandown has delighted generations of holiday-makers for over 150 years.
 
Sandown seafront is just yards from the town's shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with easy level walking along the broad promenades and sea wall.
 
Safe bathing and a mild climate with consistently high placing in the U.K's sunshine records provide the essential ingredients for a summer holiday.
 
You will find deckchairs, beach huts, water sports and the pier.

Freshwater/West Wight
 
 
The freshwater has many areas of exceptional natural beauty - rolling countryside, peaceful forests, charming villages and breathtaking coastal scenery, such as the rugged white cliffs of Freshwater Bay, the multi-coloured sandstone cliffs of Alum Bay and of course, the famous landmark Needles rocks.
 
The west coast has many beautiful beaches and most are accessible by road or from the coastal path.
 
At Alum Bay, the Needles Park has a chairlift to the beach, from which you can see the famous coloured sands or take a boat trip to view the Needles rocks and lighthouse.
 
Families enjoy the delightful small beach at Totland Bay and the golden sands of Colwell Bay, which offers beach huts and water sports.
 
Compton Bay is very popular with windsurfers.
